AND
COMMENTARY
A piano bar in the evening, the Schooner Bar is also a
venue for activities such as trivia during the day. The
Schooner Bar is on Deck 4.
Also on Deck 4 is the Tavern,
a sports bar with large video
screens for viewing games and
other sports events. The
Tavern occupies the area
where the Aquarium Bar used
to be.
The R Bar is a trendy martini bar with a whimsical
decor. It replaces the former Champagne Bar.
Above: Star Lounge at the forward end of the Royal Promenade is a
large room used for activities such as night time game shows.
Formerly the Maharajah Lounge, the room was given a new decor
along with a new name.
Right: Connoisseur Club is a secluded room decorated like a
gentleman's club.
Above left and above: The Crown & Kettle is reminiscent of an English pub and opens out onto the Royal Promenade so
that patrons can watch the world go by.
Located high on the ship's funnel, the Viking Crown Lounge offers not only
spectacular views of the sea but live music performances. The art work
decorating the area features notable jazz musicians.
Left: The Diamond Club serves as a lounge for Diamond-level (and above)
members of RCI's Crown and Anchor Society. It replaces the 19th Hole Bar.
There are several bars
serving those who prefer to
spend their time on deck
and/or by the swimming
pools. Left: The Sky Bar.
Below: The Pool Bar
located just below the Sky
Bar next to the main pools.
Below left: Serving the other
pool complex is the
Solarium Bar.
