The Wheelhouse Bar, decorated
with nautical paintings and
overstuffed leather chairs, is one of
the most popular bars on SEA
PRINCESS.
Production shows and revues are done in the 550-seat
Princess Theatre (above), which offers with pillar-less,
unobstructed views, while comedians, magicians and other
performers appear in the 480-seat Vista Show Lounge
(below).
In order to achieve the goal of "big
ship choices, small ship feel",
Princess divides the public space on
its large ships into numerous small
venues. By do doing, Princess can
present more options in
entertainment and leisure activities
and thus satisfy a wider variety of
tastes. In addition, dividing the ship
in this way allows for more intimate
venues, which prevents passengers
from feeling overwhelmed by the
large number of passengers
onboard.
The size of The Monte Carlo Casino was reduced
when the ship sailed as the ADONIA for P&O. It has not
been restored to its original size in deference to the fact
that British passengers have shown less interest in
shipboard casinos than American passengers.
Nonetheless, it is fully-equipped with gaming tables, slot
machines and card tables.
Razzmatazz (left) is Sea Princess'
disco nightclub. There is also a large
dance floor in The Horizon Court
(below).
As the name implies Premier Cru
(left) is a champagne bar offering
caviar and a variety of imported and
domestic wines..
The Crooners Bar features jazz
entertainment.
Sea Princess also has outdoor bars
serving the pool areas. These include
Topsiders Bar (not shown) and the
Seaview Bar, which overlooks the
Spa Pool.
