THE SEAS
PHOTO TOUR
AND
COMMENTARY
The Tropical Theater is the scene for
Serenade's Las Vegas and Broadway-style
procution shows. It is several decks high and can
accommodate 915 guests.
Left: A rehearsal for one of the ship's production
shows.
One of the few public rooms on Serenade with the
glitz of Las Vegas is appropriately the Casino
Royale. It has its own bar (above) and is
equipped with slot machines, gaming tables and
electronic gaming.
The African-themed Safari Club is composed of four
venues. At the center of these is the Zanibar Lounge
(right), which features a stage and and large dance
floor.
The Congo Bar (above left), located in the same room as the Zanibar Lounge, has large windows that look over the stern of
the ship. The Game Reserves (above right) feature pool tables which automatically balance themselves to offset any ship
movement. The final venue is the Serengetti Card Club, which is shown on Page Three.
The Viking Crown
Lounge, which is
wrapped around the
ship's funnel high on
Deck 13, houses two
venues: the Vortex
nightclub, and the
Hollywood
Odyessey (below left).
The Schooner Bar (above),
located outside of the Portofino
and Chops Grille specialty
restaurants, is a popular venue,
which has live music in the
evenings.
The Lobby Bar (left and right)
sits at the base of the ten-story
Centrum.
Also in the Centrum but on Deck
Six is the Champagne Bar
(eblow), which has
floor-to-ceiling windows looking
out the starboard side.
Serving sports enthusiasts is the
Pit Stop Sports Bar (above
left), which has video screens
showing sporting events.
Serving the sports facilities and
the open decks and the pool areas
are: The Country Club (above
right), the Solarium Bar (left),
the Sky Bar (middle right) and
the Pool Bar (lower right).
