POOLS AND OPEN DECKS
The Pool and Sports Zone covers most of the top
decks and various other areas of the ship as well. Within
this zone are several different areas that are units onto
. The furtherest forward of these is the Solarium. This
is an adults-only area protected from the elements by
seemingly acres of glass. Within this area is a
hydrotherapy pool, two large hot tubs, numerous deck
chairs, a bar and a café.
Aft of the Solarium is the Pool Area. Because of Oasis' split superstructure, the
port side is divided from the starboard side. There is, however, a bridge called
the Skywalk linking the two, which in addition to providing a means to go from
one side to the other also divides the area fore from aft. As a result, the pool area
is divided into four quadrants, each with its own pool.
Aft on the starboard side is the H2O Zone
(below). Geared toward children, it features
water spray cannons, umbrella jets, ground
gushers, waterfalls and brightly colored

OF THE SEAS
Not far outside of the Solarium area
are two of the ship's four large hot
tuns cantilevered over the ship's side.
Left and above: Forward on the starboard side is the
Beach Pool area. The space surrounding this pool has a
gentle slope that leads to the main body of water as at a
beach. The area also has a large hot tub.
Below: The Main Pool area on the port side forward
has two hot tubs as well as a large pool.
The Sports Pool is reserved for lap swimming
in the morning and water sports in the afternoon
