DINING
NAVIGATOR OF
THE SEAS
PHOTO TOUR
AND
COMMENTARY
Navigator's main dining room is a
massive elegantly decorated room. In
fact, it is so large that each of its
three levels has its own name - - each
one named after a ballet.
Dining on two of the levels follows the
traditional system of each guest
having a reserved place at either the
first or second seating.
The third level follows a flexible
dining system in which guests can
arrive at any time but do not have a
reserved place.
Breakfast is served on an open
seating basis each day in one of the
levels of the restaurant. Lunch is
served in the same manner but only
on sea days.
Navigator has a large buffet dining area divided into the Jade
Restaurant and the Windjammer Cafe.
There are two extra-tariff specialty restaurants. The Chops Grille (above) is a steakhouse.
Portofino's (below) serves sophisticated Italian cusine.
Johnny Rockets is styled after a 1950s American diner. It offers large hamburgers,
milk-shakes, french fries, onion rings and ice cream sundaes. However, it is an much an
entertainment venue as a restaurant with dancing waiters and stylized routines.
Cafe Promenade is located on the Royal Promenade. Diners can sit at a sidewalk table and watch the
people come and go. The menu includes pizza and sandwiches, specilaty coffee and Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
