There are four broad categories of staterooms onboard
Liberty of the Seas:  Suites; Balcony Staterooms;
Outside Staterrooms and Interior Staterooms.  These
categories are further divided into subcategories on the
basis of size and/or amenities.
Outside Staterroms have two twin beds (can
convert into queen-size) and private bathroom.
They range in size from the Family Outside
Staterrom, which also has a sofa bed or Pullman
bed at 338 sq.ft. to Large Outside Staterooms at
200 sq. ft. to Outside Staterooms (right) at 183
sq. ft.
   The standard Interior Stateroom (left)
has two twin beds that can convert into a
queen-size and a private bathroom..  They are
152 sq. ft.  They have no window.
There is also a Family Interior Stateroom that
can sleep six and has a sitting area.  It is 323
sq. feet.  Again, there is no window.
Not all interior staterooms lack a view.  A
Promenade Staeroom (189 sq. ft.) has a bowed
window overlooking the Royal Promenade.
Also, a Family Promenade Stateroom has two
bowed windows onto the Royal Promenade .
Balcony Staterooms have two twin beds  that can convert into a queen-size bed, a sitting area (some with
sofa bed), a private balcony and a private bathroom.  The Superior Balcony Staterooms are larger at 214 sq. ft.
with an 88 sq. ft. balcony compared to the Deluxe Balcony Stateroom at 177 sq. ft. with a 74 sq. ft. balcony.
The top category of accommodations are the Suites
(not shown).  There are six subcategories ranging from
the 1,406 sq. ft. (with 377 sq. ft. balcony) Royal Suite
to the Junior Suite at 317 sq. ft. (with a 101 sq. ft.
balcony).   Some suites have one or more private
bedrooms while the smaller ones have a combination
sitting area and bedroom.

area. Below: The bedroom.
The Grand Suites and
the
Junior Suites can
sleep up to four, have
private balconies, and
separate seating areas.
They differ primarily in
size (381 square feet vs.
277 square feet) and in
that the Grand Suites
have access to the
Concierge Club
Above: An inside double stateroom.  The Promenade Family
Staterooms are interior cabins with a window
overlooking the Royal Promenade.  In addition to a standard
bedroom, they have a more spartan separate
sleeping area for children (right).
