COCO CAY
PHOTO TOUR AND
COMMENTARY
BEACHES, SPORTS
FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
(Page 2)
As one walks further around the circumference of the island, the beaches become less populated, with less facilities until
finally the dense vegetation comes down to a rocky shore.
One can take to the air parasailing (above).
Alternatively, one can take a boat tour or venture into the more remote
parts of the island on a kayak tour. (below)
The most popular beaches are fairly close to
the tender landing, shops and food facilities.
In addition to the numerous deck chairs by the beaches, there are also hammocks in amongst the palms.
Coco Cay also has a volleyball area (left) and various
exercise facilities such as chinning bars (above).
For venturing into the water, there are places to obtain
floating mats, wet suits and a variety of watercraft.
Guests can also reach the
more remote sections of the
island along the nature
trail. (Note while the trail
is often scenic, there are
quite a few rocks and it can
be slippery).
A less vigorous means of
seeing the rest of the
island is by tractor train,
which stops at various
scenic points.
