BARS AND LOUNGES
QUEEN MARY 2
There are 14 bars and lounges on QM2, covering a variety of
tastes.  Perhaps the most popular is the Commodore Club (above
right and right)  located high on Deck 9 with views overlooking
the front of the ship.  Nearby but separated by a glass wall is
Churchill's Cigar Bar (below).
On Deck 3 are three rather cosmopolitan lounges.  As the name suggests, The Verve Clicquot Champagne Bar (above) specializes in
the champagnes of the renown French champagne house and has a menu of caviars and other similar delights. Immediately adjacent
is the sophisticated Chart Room (below left), which also has cocktail music and jazz performances.  Sir Samuel's Wine Bar is the
scene of wine tastings and, in the mornings, offers pastries.
The more informal Golden Lion Pub (left)
on Deck 2 has dart competitions and trivia
games during the day.  In the evenings,
there is karaoke and/or a singer/pianist.
G-32 is the ship's nightclub.  The name
comes from the number the shipyard
assigned to QM2 when she was being built.
This follows in the footsteps of QE2 where
the original nightclub, located where the
Queens Grill is now, was named after
QE2's shipyard number.
On Deck 7 there is the
Winter Garden Bar (left)
and the Queens Grill
Lounge (right).  The latter
is the only public lounge on
the ship reserved
exclusively for the use of
passengers dining in the
Grill restaurants.
LEFT: The Regatta Bar is located on the open deck at the top of the
ship.
BELOW: The Terrace Bar is on Eight Deck and is the scene of
sailaway parties and other outdoor events.
LEFT: The Pavilion Bar
serves the indoor pool area.
RIGHT:  One can always have
champagne in one's stateroom.

A British mailbox marks the
main entrance to the Golden
Lion Pub.
