PHOTO ESSAY:
RUBY PRINCESS
OUT AND ABOUT
by
Richard H. Wagner
Morning in Port Everglades. Ruby
Princess has arrived before sunrise is
disembarking her passengers as are the
six other ship in port.
By mid-day, the passengers from
the previous cruise have gone, the
public areas and the cabins have
been cleaned and Ruby Princess is
embarking the passengers for her
next cruise.
As the daylight fades, Ruby
Princess and the other ships in
the port including MSC Poesia
prepare to get underway.
Before the sun has completely
set, Ruby is proceeding out to
sea.
Ruby arrives at one of the most
popular Eastern Caribbean ports,
St. Maarten. Five other ships are
in port but with the island's two
long piers, there is plenty of room.
As the sun sets, Ruby and the other
ships prepare to leave.
Ruby is brightly lit in the early evening darkness. Ahead of her is Mein Schiff 2.
Carnival Dream is across the way at the other pier.
