The second major change involved the addition of a new
steakhouse specialty restaurant, the Crown Grill, the creation
of a new casino and the addition of a series of suites. This
change involved moving the casino from Deck 6 to Deck 7 and
building a new specialty restaurant where the casino had been.

new Shore Excursions Desk as wellas the Crown Grill
occupy the old casino area now.

existing Internet Cafe was
moved from Deck 7 to the Piazza
in order to make way for the new
Casino.

The Library (above left), the Writing Room (above right), the
Furture Cruise Desk (left) and the Joker's Card Room
(right), all on the starboard side of the Grand Plaza Deck 5, were
replaced by Vines and the new combination Internet Cafe and
Library.

The third major area of change was forward on the upper decks
where Sports Complex was replaced by the Sancturary. The
photo at left shows the Spa Pool prior to the construction of the
Sanctuary. This renovation affected the Jogging Track (below
left) and the Center Court (above right) as well as a giant chess
set (above). When Center Court was moved to aft of the funnel, it
displaced the Princess Links mini-golf course (below right).

The 2009 refit involved changing three major areas. The first of
these was to transform the base of the central atrium, which had
been called the Grand Plaza into the Piazza, a combination
entertainment and dining venue, which had proven very popular on
Caribbean Princess' sisters Crown, Emerald and Ruby .
