SPA

The Sapphire Pools area contains two pools, a
children's pool, a waterslide, cover hot tubs, a bar, a grill,
a bandstand and numerous deck chairs. The area also has
its own bar and grill.

Left: There are large expanses of deck for
sun worshipers.
Below: A whimsical outdoor shower for
cooling off.

A grandstand overlooks the Sports Court
combination basketball, tennis and volleyball
court.

Other sports facilities include: The
jogging track (left); golf nets for
practicing drives and other shots (right);
table tennis (below left); chess (for
mental exercise)(below); and a minature
pool table (below right).

offers manicures and
pedicures as well as hair
cuts and grooming (see

cruise).

Right and below: The
Body Waves Fitness
Center has exercise and
weight machines as well
as aerobics and other
fitness classes.

Above: The spa has two
whirlpools.
Left: Ceramic thermal chairs
overlook the bow.

The spa offers a catalog of
treatments including:
massages, acupuncture,
facials, teeth whitening, and
more. (see spa menu from one
cruise).

Most of the services are
performed in the various
treatment rooms which
include rooms for couples as
well as the traditional
individual rooms.

The spa also has saunas and
steam rooms.

Guests staying in certain
stateroom categories have
access to the Haven (see
article). This area includes a
coutryard protected by a
retractable magrodome. Inside
is a lap pool, a large whirlpool
and an exercise area. The
Haven also includes an area of
open deck.

Wrapping around Deck 7 is
the Promenade. It can be
used for walking (3.5 laps
equals a mile), playing
shuffleboard or just sitting
and watching the sea go by.
