The Great Pacific Main Dining Room is a huge room
located at the stern of the ship. It is kept bright by large
windows along the stern and along parts of both sides.

Le Bistro is often cited as the top specialty
restaurant on NCL ships. It is elegantly
decorated in a "theatrical Art Nouveau" theme
with reproductions of Impressionist and other late
19th Century French artists.

Cagney's Steakhouse, located high on the
ship on Deck 13, is an upscale steak house.

Facing each other across the Crystal Atrium are the Blue Lagoon (left), which is a 24-hour venue offering light fare
such as hamburgers, shepherd's pie, fish and chips and wok dishes, and the Tequila Restaurant (right), which
features tapas and salsa dishes.

La Cucina Italian Restaurant serves pizza,
pasta, Italian deserts and offers Italian wines in
an Italian farmhouse setting,

The Orchid Garden is a complex of Asian style
restaurants . It includes the Teppanyaki Room
(above left), a general seating area with Japanese,
Thai and Chinese dishes (left) and a Sushi Bar
(above).

The Garden Cafe is the ship's buffet restaurant.

Gem follows NCL's hallmark Freestyle Dining system. Guests
do not have an assigned dining time nor do they have an
assigned seat in one of the restaurants. To help guests decide
where to eat, there are video displays (left) placed in the
public areas that show how occupied each of the dining
venues is and how much waiting time, if any, there is for that
restaurant.

The Magenta Main Dining Room is smaller
than the Great Pacific (304 guests vs. 558 guests)
and somewhat darker. Its design is modern and
features backlit floral artwork. It is also the less
formal of the two main dining rooms.

Outside, there is: Topsiders Bar and Grill (left) in the pool
area; the Great Outdoors offering light meals and drinks with
views over the stern (below left). The Bali Hai Bar and Grill
overlooking the pool area also provides hamburgers and hot dogs.
