The Library (above) was designed to invoke the
"golden age of cruising".  In the
Internet Cafe
(left), located in the lobby area, there are eight
work stations.  The
Card Room one of two
nearly identical multi-purpose rooms, can
accommodate 28.

GEM has extensive children's facilities and a supervised program for young
passengers that is divided by age group.  (See children's programs on the
Norwegian Gem Profile Page).  

Amongst the facilities for children are: a large indoor play area (above left);
an arts and crafts area (above right); a sheltered outdoor play area (below
middle) and an outdoor pool (below right).

PASSENGER FACILITIES
The Chapel (left) can be sued for meetings as well as
for  renewals of vows and other ceremonies.  There is
also a
Business Conference Center (above) which
accommodates 60 for group and business meetigs.
The Kid's Cafe, a section in
the Garden Cafe buffet, with
child size tables and chairs.
