The Library (above) was designed to invoke the
"golden age of cruising". In the Internet Café
(left), located in the lobby area, there are eight

Gem's main shopping area is
the Trade Routes
Boutiques (above, left and
right). There is also the Ports
O Call shop in the Crystal
Atrium (below).
For teenagers there is the Leopard Lounge, which includes
an area for teenagers to socialize, three 42 inch plasma flat
screen TVs, two 23 inch LCD flat screen TVs, a dance floor, a
non-alcoholic bar, video juke box and table football.

Gem has extensive children's facilities and a supervised program
for young passengers that is divided by age group. (See
children's programs).
Amongst the facilities for children are: a large indoor play area
(above left); an arts and crafts area (above right); a large screen
video room (left); a sheltered outdoor play area (below middle)
and an outdoor pool (below right).
CHILDREN AND YOUNG
PASSENGER FACILITIES
The Chapel (left) can be sued for meetings as well as
for renewals of vows and other ceremonies. There is
also a Business Conference Center (above) which
accommodates 60 for group and business meetings.
The Kid's Café, a section in
the Garden Café buffet, with
child size tables and chairs.

The children's program now includes
circus workshops by Cirque Du Jour
leading to a circus in which the children
perform.
In addition, kids have the opportunity to
see and meet the Nickelodeon characters.
