FRAM
PHOTO TOUR
AND
COMMENTARY
OPEN DECKS and
PUBLIC AREAS
Fram has two large hot tubs on her open decks. There is no
traditional pool. Afterall, such a feature would see very limited
use on cruises to the Arctic and Antarctic.
There is, however, considerable open space for sitting outdoors
and watching the scenery. There are deck chairs and wooden
tables and chairs aft.
The outdoor promenade wraps
around the forward part of the
ship. The bow area is clear of
machinery so guests can sun
themselves on deck chairs.
The fitness room located high
on the ship has exercie
machines and a ping pong
table.
Appropriately for a Scandinavian
ship, Fram has two saunas; one in th
men's dressing room and one in the
ladies' dressing room.

Above: There are two lecture rooms where guests can hear talks about the places the ship is visiting .
Lectures are given by the staff guides. Since the ship attracts guests from several countries, lectures
are given in several languages.
