The Vista Lounge is the largest entertainment
venue onboard Zuiderdam. It is home to the
Zuiderdam Singers and Dancers who perform the
production shows and also perform in concert. It is
also the venue for visiting performers such as
magician Jeff Peterson and his dog Indy and
television star Jeff Trachta. In addition, it is used
for the Captain's Welcome Reception, Shopping
ashore presentations, enrichment lectures, and the
crew talent show and farewell.

The Crow's Nest is another active venue. Located at the forward
end of the superstructure near the top of the ship, this large room
has panoramic views over the surrounding sea or port. It also has
its own bar and dance floor.

Activities in the Crow's Nest include talks by the captain and
by visiting entertainers, the daily trivia contest, and mixology
classes where the bartenders teach how to make cocktails and
occasionally give demonstrations of the more acrobatic aspects of
mixing a drink.

The Casino is a relatively large room with
slot machines, gaming tables and electronic
gaming.

The Queens Lounge is a multi-purpose venue that hosts activities, karaoke, gatherings and dancing. The room also has its
own bar. It is also The Culinary Art Center with a demonstration kitchen where Zuiderdam's chefs give lessons (below
left). In a more lighthearted mode, Captain Turner and Cruise Director Shea teach how to make your own pizza (below right).

Northern Lights is the disco. It has its
own DJ who hosts name that tune trivias,
theme hours and late night dance parties.

The Screening Room is a
purpose-built movie theater. A
relatively small room, it is
terraced so that each of the
comfortable, padded lounge
chairs has a good view of the
screen.
