SPA AND FITNESS CENTER

Veendam has one traditional pool area. The Lido Pool is
protected by a retractable glass roof and has two whirlpools. It also
has a bar, a grill for light meals and a giant chess board.

The spa also offers an array of treatments including
massages and even accupunture. It also has a
relaxation area for guests to use between
treatments. (See Spa handout from one cruise).

The Greenhouse Spa oFeatures
a thermal suite with a whirlpool
and ceramic chairs. The Spa also
has steam rooms and saunas.

The third component of the spa is the salon, which
provides services for women and men. (See Salon handout

The spa also includes a fitness center with space for
aerobics and exercise classes as well as for exercise
machines. There are also treadmills, resistance
machines, and free weights.

The aft pool area has been transformed into
the Retreat. It has a whirlpool and a
shallow pool with loungersers as well as its
own bar and pizzeria.

For active cruisers, there is a Basketball Court and a
Volleyball Court. Facilities for less strenuous
activities include Shuffleboard and Veendam's
Outdoor Promenade.
