Holland America calls its dining
program "As You Wish Dining." On
Nieuw Amsterdam, this program
extends to seven restaurants as well as
complimentary room service dining.

The Manhattan Dining Room is
the ship's main dining room.
Encompassing two levels at the stern of
the ship, this restaurant is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is
also an afternoon tea most days.

Breakfast and lunch are open seating.
For dinner, guests can opt for either a
traditional two-seating system or an
open dining system in which guests can
dine any time between 5:15 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. Guests on the open dining
plan are encouraged to make
reservations beforehand.

The Pinnacle Grill is elegant and sophisticated with
luxury touches such as Bvlgari china, Riedel stemware
and Frette linens. The menu features premium Sterling
Silver beef and seafood dishes. It is open for lunch and
for dinner. A cover charge applies.

Tamarind is Nieuw Amsterdam's pan-Asian restaurant.
For lunch, it has a procession of dim sum offerings along
with vegetable spring rolls, spicy crab rangoon and other
items. For dinner, it presents an Asian-fusion menu.
Lunch is complimentary but there is a cover charge for
dinner.

The Lido Restaurant is the ship's self-serve buffet. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Located high on the ship between the two pool areas, it has great views to starboard and port.

Canaletto is open for dinner only and
features Italian favorites. Located in the
ship's buffet restaurant the atmosphere is
more casual than Nieuw Amsterdam's other
specialty restaurants. Reservations for this
complimentary venue are encouraged.
