There were no other large cruise ships in
Antigua, just the sailing ship Sea Cloud.  
The combination of good weather and lots of
room in the harbor, gave Explorer the
opportunity to exercise her lifeboats.  
Similarly, she also was able to practice
lowering and raising her anchors.

In St. Kitts, Explorer's last port of call,
there were too many cruise ships for the
pier.  As a result,
Celebrity Summit had to
wait off shore and tender her passengers to
the island.  Meanwhile, Explorer shared the
pier with P&O Cruises'
Azura.
