A piano bar in the evening, the Schooner Bar is also a venue for
activities such as trivia during the day.
The Aquarium Bar is conveniently located
between the main dining room and the casino.
It also has live music in the evening.
The Champagne Bar near the aft end of the
Royal Promenade offers a variety of good
champagnes as well as other wines and
spirits. (See menu on the Explorer profile
page).

Above left and above: The Cooper Kettle is
reminiscence of an English pub and opens out onto
the Royal Promenade so that patrons can watch the
world go by.
Left: Weekend Warrior, also on the Royal
Promenade, is a sports bar with televisions showing
various sporting events.
The two-level Chamber nightclub has a Gothic theme.
Guests entering on the upper level are met by two full
length stained glass windows (right). There are bars on
both levels (see below). A large wooden dance floor on the
lower level (below right) is the focal point of this late night
club.
Located high on the ship's funnel, the Viking Lounge houses two venues. Above: Dizzy's
offers not only spectacular views of the sea but live jazz performances. The art work
decorating the area features notable jazz musicians.
Left: The 19th Hole immediately adjoins the outdoor sports area including the
miniature golf course.
There are several bars serving those who prefer
to spend their time on deck and/or by the
