SPA

Summit has a large spa area that includes 16 treatment
rooms, a thermal suite, and various steam rooms (See spa
menu from one cruise).

A jogging track makes it way around Sunrise Deck (left.
Behind the ship's funnel is a large basketball court (above).
The outdoor promenade is a quiet place for reflection (below left)
Summit, of course, has shuffleboard.

Beginning at the forward end of the ship, the first pool
area one comes across is the impressive Aquaspa Pool.
The area is enclosed by a glass roof and the area around
the pool has teak decking. Jets of water spray into the
pool. This adults-only area also has its own buffet
restaurant specializing in healthy foods. Somewhat oddly
given the area's emphasis on health, a statue of a very
obese woman is at one end of the pool - - perhaps as a
warning.

The gym has treadmills, weight
and exercise machines including
stationary bicycles as well as an
aerobics area. (See fitness class

The spa area also includes the
Salon. (left).

Associated with the spa but
not in the spa area is the
ship's acupuncture
specialist. (right)

SUMMIT

Moving aft, the Waterfall Pool Area is
the ship's main pool area with two pools and
several whirlpools. The pools are
surrounded by deck chairs and there is a bar
serving the area. The ship's main buffet
restaurant adjoins the area.

There are also deck chairs on Sunrise Deck, one deck above the pool areas.
