SPA

Equinox features a large spa that occupies significant
parts of two decks. Amongst its features are treatment
rooms for individuals and couples, thremal suites and a
relaxation area with views over the bow of the ship. (See
spa menu from one cruise).

One deck above the jogging track circles the main
pool area and the Solarium. (above left). Other
sports facilities include a basketball court that is
on the forward part of Deck 15. (not shown).
Equinox has an outdoor promenade for strolling
and reflection (below left). The ship is also equipped
with ping pong tables and contests are held in the
Sky Observation Lounge 9above)

The fitness centeris part of the spa and is equipped with
has treadmills, weight and exercise machines as well as an
aerobics area. (See fitness class schedule from one cruise).

Equinox has two pool areas. The first of
these is the Solarium, an enclosed area
that houses the Aquaspa Pool. In addition,
there are two whirlppols, comfortable deck
chairs and the Aquaspa Cafe. What appears
to be a continuation on the roof of this
area's modernistic design are in fact solar
panels.

The main Pool Area is outdoors and includes two pools as well as a "wet zone" and four
whirlpools.. There are deck chairs and other seating around the pool as well as a poolside
bar.

An innovation pioneered on the Solstice-class
ships is a Lawn featuring real grass. This
restful area is used for boules, golf putting and
other lawn games. In addition, glass-blowing
demonstrations are given by experts from the
Corning Museum of Glass (below).
