DINING
TRIUMPH has two main dining rooms . Both
serve the same menu. At this time, they both
follow the traditional cruise ship method of
reserved tables and two seatings for dinner.
However, a flexible dining arrangement is
scheduled to be introduced in 2010.
The London Dining Room is amidships and
seats 702. It is usually closed during the day
and is only open for dinner.
The room encompasses two decks with a
balcony area looking down at the main
seating area. This allows for a variety of
seating and there are tables ranging from
intimate groupings to large tables.
Light zebra wood paneles accented with black
lacquered moldings give the room a taste of
London.
The alternative informal dining
is the South Beach Club
located on the Lido Deck but
with a balcony seating area on
Panorama Deck. It is situated
between the two main swimming
pool areas.
In addition to the Grand Buffet,
included in the South Beach
complex are stations dubbed the
New York Deli (middle right)
and the Hong Kong Noodle
Factory (Asian-influenced
cuisine) (below right).
The room is styled after old
Miami Beach with art deco
accents, tile work and a
two-deck high mosaic of a
Miami hotel.
The buffet complex contunes back into the New World Pool area. Here, one will find the 24-hour Napoli Pizzeria (above
left left) and he Conney Island Grille (hamburgers, hot dogs etc.) (upper right). Guests can obtain iced tea, juices and
frozen yogurt at a nearby station (below left). The large windows overlooking the stern of the ship provide a spectacular
view (below right).
Since the Austrain capital is known for its pastries, the specialty coffee and pastry
venue is the Cafe Vienna on Promenade Deck. It is done in an Art Nouveau
style recalling the heyday of the Waltz capital.
The Paris Dining Room is somewhat
larger and seats 1,114. It too is two decks
high with a balcony. However, there are
also window tables looking over the stern.
Fracus attempted to give the room a
Parisian feel with the use of curving lines
reminiscent of Garnier's Paros Metro
stations.
In the evenings, guests can obtain a light
meal at the Sushi Bar on Promenade Deck.
