CARNIVAL TRIUMPH
TOUR AND
COMMENTARY
AMENITIES
(Shops, Children's Areas,
Other Public Areas)
While the decor of TRIUMPH generally
avoids the whimsy of theme park style
decoration, the Underground Tokyo
arcade area is one exception. But, then,
how else would you decorate an arcade?
More in keeping with TRIUMPH's elegant format, the Internet Cafe (left) has the sophisticated
feel of an English Restoration or Tudor period stately home. The Washington Library (right)
has a similar sophisitication.
The TRIUMPH Shops ( upper left) carry a selection of name-brand items. Formalities (upper right) is a
standard feature on Carnival ships where one can buy or rent items for the formal evenings. Rapidly
becoming a standard on all cruise ships, guests can purchase original works in the Art Gallery (lower left).
There is also an extensive photo gallery for purchasing sou vernier shots and portraits done by the ship's
photographers.
With family travel increasing, the cruise lines are devoting more
space to children's facilities. On TRIUMPH there is an indoor
play area for young children (upper left); an outdoor play area
(upper right); a pool for small children (left) and a club
exclusively for teenagers (below).
