and SPA
SPA
The Conquest has an array of outdoor
sports facilities including a Mini-Golf
Course (left and above); a golf practice
net (lower left) a basketball court and
volleyball court (below); shuffleboard
(lower right); ping pong tables (middle
right); and a jogging track (right).
The forward pool area is dominated by a 200 foot long
waterslide. However, the slide does not deliver
passengers into the Stars Pool but rather next to the
pool. The pool itself is the smallest of the three pools
onboard. However, it does have its own whirlpool.
The Spa Carnival is a large complex that occupies
portions of two decks. The spa facilities includes eight
treatment rooms including facilities for couples and steam
rooms and saunas located in the men's and women's locker
rooms. (Click hereto see the spa handout from one cruise).
Part of the Spa complex is the
Gym., Its equipment includes:
free weights (above left);
treadmills and cardiovascular
exercise machines (left and
above), weight machines (below
right); and an area for exercise
classes and instruction (right).
The gym is situated above the
ship's navigational bridge and
affords impressive views.

The Outdoor Promenade is a quiet
area where passengers stroll or just sit
and watch the sea.
The Sky Pool is at the aft end of the ship. Its
area includes two whirlpools and a bar. The
pizzeria and a light meals grille are also part of
the area. It has a retractable glass roof making
the area usable regardless of the weather.
CARNIVAL
CONQUEST
TOUR AND
COMMENTARY
Conquest has three main pool areas. The
largest of these is the Sun Pool area,
which has a pool two whirlpools, a large
dance floor, and the Seaside Theater's giant
screen overlooking it all. The area is also
served by its own bar and is convenient to
the buffet restaurant.
For less active outdoor
relaxation, there is a giant chess
board (left) and numerous deck
chairs (right).
